Accommodation
Congress Office has negotiated favourable room prices and reserved rooms for the congress participants in three city centre hotels. The reservations will be made on “first come, first served” basis. Note that the hotel quotas are valid until two months before the congress. After that we cannot guarantee the availability of the hotel rooms, but will assist you in finding accommodation. The hotel fees include breakfast, service and VAT. All hotel fees are payable directly to the hotels.
Please mark your hotel reservation on the congress registration form. Your reservation will be confirmed together with your participation. Kindly inform the Congress Office of any changes in your accommodation reservation (congress-office@utu.fi).

Hotel Scandic Julia

This inexpensive hotel is located in the city centre next to the Market Square, diagonally across the street from Hotel Hamburger Börs. The hotel has 60 spacious and comfortable rooms. The services of the Hotel Hamburger Börs are also available for the guest staying at City Börs.

Reservation conditions for all hotels
Reservation conditions:
Reserved room will be held until 6 pm on the day of arrival. The hotel is entitled to give the room to another guest after 6 pm. If you plan to arrive after 6 pm, you will be kindly asked to fax your credit card information to the Congress Office to ensure that the room will be held until your arrival. You can fax the information using the authorization form. Note that the hotel will charge your card only in case of late cancellation or no-show.
Room cancellation:
A reserved room may be cancelled free of charge by 6 pm two days (48 hrs) before arrival. The hotel has the right to charge the guest for cancellations made after 6 pm two days (48 hrs) before arrival or no-shows.
